Mon avis en bref
C'est un très court roman (ou une novella, au choix) que j'ai bien aimé.
Les personnages sont sympathique, et j'ai bien aimé la touche de paranormal dans cette enquête.
Par contre, il est écrit "cozy mystery romance" sur la couverture, mais je ne suis pas tout à fait d'accord avec ça.
Pour la romance, pas de souci, mais pour le "cozy mystery", euh...
Moi je trouve qu'on est plutôt dans un petit thriller.
Alors un thriller très soft, ok, mais un thriller quand même, vu que les protagonistes sont à la recherche d'un tueur en série et qu'ils sont directement confrontés à lui à un moment donné.
Mais bon, c'est un mini détail, qui n'a rien changé à ma lecture.
Alors bien sûr, comme c'est très court, l'enquête est très vite résolue et il y a parfois des choses un peu tirées par les cheveux, mais ça ne m'a pas dérangée.
En résumé, c'était un petit thriller sans prétention mais bien sympathique.
